Grey Owl has handsome, loose and airy arching silvery-grey foliage that demands attention wherever it's used. Being medium-sized, slightly vase-shaped, growing 3-4' tall by 5-6' wide, the Grey Owl is an excellant choice as a foundation planting, as a screen, lining a long drive or as a space-filling groundcover for those large sweeping expanses such as golf courses.
Try companion plantings with other striking foliage plants like Photinias, Loropetalums, Forest Pansy Redbuds ( Grey Owl doesn't mind a bit of shade ) , Bismark Palms, Agaves and as a groundcover under brilliant red crape myrtles !
